In modern anticorrosion field, sacrificial anode, as an important anticorrosive material, plays an irreplaceable role in the current anticorrosion field. Especially with the rapid development of economy and the continuous deepening of industrial production, the actual demand for different types of sacrificial anode anti-corrosion products in the industry is also increasing. As an important player in the field of corrosion protection, magnesium alloy sacrifice anodes play an irreplaceable role in both the use of anticorrosive coatings and the corrosion protection of products.
Magnesium anode products are usually used in high resistivity fresh water, brackish water and soil environment, not suitable for flammable and explosive occasions, not suitable for severe AC interference environment. In this regard, foreign literature has reported that the polarity of magnesium is reversed when the voltage is 20V AC and the current density is 3.9 Ma /cm2. Sacrificial anode cathodic protection is a method to prevent metal corrosion by using galvanic battery principle. The specific method is to use a strong reducing metal as a protective electrode, and connect it with the protected metal to form a battery. The strong reducing metal is used as a negative electrode for REDOX reaction and sacrifice consumption, while the protected metal is used as a positive electrode to avoid corrosion. In this way, the anode metal is consumed and the cathode metal is protected. So it's called sacrificial anode protection. Generally speaking, corrosion of anode metal is used to protect cathode metal and slow down corrosion.
Sacrific anode technology is widely used in engineering construction and equipment structure to prevent or slow down the corrosion of metal materials, such as oil, petrochemical, natural gas pipeline and storage tanks, ports, Bridges, ships, submarine cable pipeline, water treatment plants and other fields, its practical effect is irreplaceable. Magnesium strip sacrificial anode has the characteristics of flat shape, adjustable length and flexible. These characteristics make it have unique applications in cathodic protection engineering, especially in the long distance pipeline and through the pipeline, large tank pipeline and through the pipeline, large tank bottom grounding network and lightning protection, short term anode in composite anode, etc.
